Get to know a little about me !

hi! my name is gigi, a twenty-four-year-old looking to reignite my love for writing through different forms of love, magic, and light during dark and discouraging times.at a young age, i could spend hours of my day, head buried in published books, or spend hours of my night reading or making my own fanfiction. my mind would get lost in all different worlds with different point of views and experiences, especially when writing my own. even if they weren't perfect, they were my pride, and i loved them to every last letter.unfortunately, as i got older, my insecurities grew and my passion for writing dwindled. i lost myself for years, unsure of whom i was or what i wanted to do. luckily, i still spent a lot of time in a creative space where creating concepts for stories helped what little of a burning flame remain inside my heart, even though it wasn't good for me. the space was a toxic and negative environment, fueling my younger mind into becoming someone i couldn't recognize no matter how hard i squinted.it wasn't until late 2021 that i hit a breaking point, sinking into one of the lowest points of my life. taking many months, almost a year, to myself, i reflected on me and who i wanted to be again. rediscovered interests i discarded out of fear of being ridiculed. it was during this time that my passion for writing was reignited and since then i have been working on various works while finding who i am and learning new things about myself. while it hasn't been easy, i'm incredibly thankful for the journey and the people i have met along the way as they have helped shape me into the person i am today.there's still quite a long path waiting ahead of me, but i'm exciting to continue on it and share the love i have for this art! :)
